What now?
The KPB Land Management team will begin the process of reclassifying Unit 395 to Resource Management. Contact Marcus Mueller (mmueller@kpb.us) with questions about the process.
Who is Involved?
There are a lot of people and entities working on this project. These three groups are the key players.
Kenai Peninsula Borough
The borough manages the land and put out the request for proposal to do this project. All project deliverables are given to the borough for approval.
Cooper Landing
The KPB and RESPEC are working with the Cooper Landing Advisory Planning Commission throughout the project. The residents of Cooper Landing are providing the insights that will be turned into planning suggestions in the project deliverables.
RESPEC is the consulting firm whose project proposal was selected by the borough. They are the "project primary" and are putting together the project deliverables.
